(CRIME NO.59/2021) Petition praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the affidavit filed therewith the High Court will be pleased to modify the condition as the petitioner shall execute a bond for Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only) with two sureties each for a like sum before any other court instead of the petitioner shall execute a bond for Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only)with two sureties each for a like sum to the satisfaction of the learned XVII Metropolitan Magistrate,Saidapet in Crl.O.P.No.9448 of 2021 dated imposed on 20.05.2021.
Order : This petition coming on for orders upon perusing the petition and the filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of M/S. ARULMURUGANANDHAM.N.K, Advocate for the petitioner and of MR.S.UDAYAKUMAR, Govt. Advocate ( Crl. Side)on behalf of the Respondent the court made the following order:- Vide order dated 20.05.2021 this Court had enlarged the petitioner on bail on certain conditions. This petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking modification of the conditions.
2. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner was unable to produce sureties before the Trail Court due to covid pandemic situation and serious threat to her life and whenever she tried to appear before the Trial Court for execution of sureties, she was threatened by her opponents and hence prays for necessary police protection for execution of sureties. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submitted that necessary police aid will be granted to the petitioner, in the event of appearing before the Trial Court for execution of sureties.
3. In view of the above submission, time is extended by two weeks to comply with the conditions, while granting bail to the petitioner and the concerned police officer shall look into the matter and provide sufficient police protection, if necessary. -sd/- 25/04/2022 This order, on being produced, be punctually observed and carried into execution by all concerned TRUE COPY Sub-Assistant Registrar (Statistics/C.S.)
