ORDER

The petitioner herein seeks issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents herein to consider the petitioner's representation dated 25.01.2023 and pass final orders.

2. According to the petitioner, he is doing vegetable business at Koyamedu market complex in a rented shop No.G.97, owned by one Mr.Rajendran. Originally, the petitioner was allotted with Shop No.T.G.58 in the year 2009 and subsequently, the same was cancelled by the respondents citing Court order. The petitioner submitted a representation to the respondents on 25.01.2023 making various allegations with regard to the allotment of shops, collection of rent and other market administration. The main grievances of the writ petitioner is that though the petitioner submitted a representation to the respondents on 25.01.2023 making specific allegations of irregularities in market administration and allotment of shops, the same has not been considered by the respondents in accordance with law. 2/4

3. The learned standing counsel appearing for the first and second respondents submitted that if any order is passed by this Court, directing the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner and pass final order, the same will be complied.

4. In view of the limited prayer made by the writ petitioner without expressing any opinion on the merit of the claim made by the petitioner, this Court is inclined to issue a direction to the first respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 25.01.2023 and pass final orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order, after issuing notice to all the persons concerned.

5. With the above direction, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
