ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by A.SELVAM,J.) This Habeas Corpus Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to direct the first respondent to trace out and produce the detenue, by name, N.Chandrika, aged 17 years, daughter of the petitioner.

2. The petitioner is present and she has been identified by her counsel.

3.The first respondent, viz., the Inspector of Police, All Women Police Station, Denkanikottai, has produced the detenue and she has been identified by the petitioner. 4.The detenue has been enquired and she stated that her date of birth is 10.07.1999 and to that effect a Transfer Certificate has also been filed along with the petition, thereby it is quite clear that the detenue has already attained majority.

5.Considering the aforesaid factual circumstances, the relief sought in the petition has become infructuous. In fine this habeas corpus petition is dismissed.
