O R D E R

The petitioner, who is the husband of the respondent, has filed the above Civil Revision Petition to direct the Family Court, Erode to dispose of the Original Petition in H.M.O.P.No.48 of 2014, within a stipulated time.

2. The petitioner filed H.M.O.P. No.48 of 2014, originally before the Sub Court, Namakkal numbered as H.M.O.P.No.184 of 2011, which was subsequently transferred to the file of Family Court, Erode, by order dated 10.11.2011 in Tr.C.M.P.No.677 of 2011 by this Court.

3. According to the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, since the Original Petition is pending from 2011, the petitioner is put to hardship and prejudice.

4. Having regard to the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner and also taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for in the Civil Revision Petition, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the Family Court, Erode to dispose of the Original Petition in H.M.O.P.No.48 of 2014, on merits and in accordance with law within a period of nine months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With this observation, the Civil Revision Petition is disposed of. No costs.
