This Criminal Original Petition has been filed praying, to direct the respondent to register the complaint dated 30.03.2015 given by the petitioners, investigate the same.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

3. It is represented by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor (Pondy) that a petition enquiry is pending against the complaint dated 30.03.2015 given by the petitioners.

4. The respondent police is directed to enquire into the complaint and take action in accordance with the law laid down by the Honourable Apex Court in Lalita Kumari vs. Govt. of U.P. & others [2013 (4) Crimes 243 (SC)].

5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
