ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the first and second respondents to provide the police protection to the petitioner/Hereditary Tharmakatha and Nattanmaigal as per the petitioner's representation dated 04.02.2026 to peacefully conduct the "Maasi Thiruvizha" scheduled from 06.03.2026 to 13.03.2026 in the Throupathi Amman Temple located at Arunapuram Village, Kandachipuram Taluk, Villupuram District.

2. It is the case of the petitioner that the petitioner has sent a representation dated 04.02.2026 to the respondent Police seeking police protection for the temple festival of Throupathi Amman Temple situated at Arunapuram Village, Kandachipuram Taluk, Villupuram District, scheduled to be held between 06.03.2026 and 13.03.2026.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the subject temple comes under the petitioner's control. As Hereditary Trustee/Nattanmai, the petitioner has been administering the temple. The respondent police, after verification, have ensured that there are no law and order issues and the temple festival is being conducted peacefully, without any disturbance.

4. Recording the submissions made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this petition is disposed of. No costs. 09-03-2026 nl Note: Issue order copy on 10.03.2026.
