O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the 1st respondent to provide adequate police protection while surveying petitioner's property comprised in S.Nos. 479 measuring to an extent of 4.32 acres and 480 measuring to an extent of 2.35 acres in total 6.67 acres situated at Berigai Village, Shoolagiri Taluk, Krishnagiri District by considering petitioners representation dated 14.02.2024 within a stipulated period.

2.Learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions, submitted that, based on the complaint given by the petitioner, petition enquiry is pending in C.No.9/2024 on the file of the 1st respondent Police.

3.The petitioner is directed to co-operate with the Police for enquiry and the 1st respondent Police shall conduct the enquiry keeping in mind the judgment in Lalitha Kumari vs. Government of Uttar Pradesh reported in 2013 (6) CTC 353. On completion of the enquiry, the 1st respondent Police shall take a decision regarding the further course of action. This process shall be completed by the respondent Police within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
