Kasi, S/o Duraisamy, having suffered an order on 06.01.2017 at the hands of the 3rd respondent, declining the request of the petitioner for issuance of patta for his lands covered in S.No.89/3 to an extent of 1.06.5 hectares of dry lands in Thandiappanur Village, Uthangarai Taluk, Krishnagiri District, has come to this Court seeking mandamus to direct the 2nd respondent to dispose of the pending appeal expeditiously.

2.The learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents submitted that since the appeal filed by the petitioner against the order of the 3rd respondent dated 06.01.2017 is pending before the 2nd respondent, the same shall be disposed of within a period of four weeks. 3.In view of the submission made by the learned Additional Government Pleader, the 2nd respondent is directed to consider the appeal filed by the petitioner on 30.01.2017 https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

on merits and pass appropriate orders within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 4.With this direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous are closed.
