O.P.No. 670 of 2021 C.V.KARTHIKEYAN, J.

The petitioner/adopted son of the deceased seeks Succession Certificate to receive the retirement benefits of S.Shantha Sakkubai, his mother, who died intestate on 14.03.2019. She was employed in the Institute of Obstetrics and Gynaecology and Government Hospital for Women and Children, Egmore, Chennai.

2. Publication was directed and effected. The Adoption Deed had been marked as Ex.P-1, pension payment order had been produced as Ex.P2, the death certificate of S.Shantha Sakkubai had been produced as Ex.P-3.

3. In view of the said documents produced and in view of the fact that the procedure as stipulated by law has been followed, this Petition stands allowed as prayed for and a direction for grant of Succession Certificate to the petitioner with power to collect the debts and to receive the interest specified in the schedule is issued. The petitioner is directed to render accounts once in a year.
