O R D E R

The relief sought for in the present writ petition is to direct the respondents to release the death benefits of the husband of the writ petitioner.

2. One Mrs.K.Swarna Latha, General Manager of the Tamil Nadu State Transport Corporation appeared before the Court and she informed that all the pensionary benefits due to the petitioner had already been settled except the death compensation. The respondents have stated that there exists a family dispute and in the event of furnishing all necessary documents, the said benefit also will be settled to the eligible legal heir.

3. Thus, the petitioner is at liberty to approach the respondents for settlement of the death compensation and on such approach, the respondents shall verify the records and accordingly sanction the death compensation without causing any undue delay. 2/4

4. With these directions, this writ petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
