This petition has been filed under Section 482 CrPC, seeking a direction to the respondent to register a case based on the complaint given by the petitioner dated 24.11.2014.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that as the petitioner is not cooperating for the enquiry, the respondent police is unable to take any further action.

3. However, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is prepared to appear before the respondent police and cooperate for the enquiry.

4. Considering the submissions of both sides, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with a direction to the petitioner to appear before the first respondent police and submit a fresh copy of the complaint, and on such complaint being made, the first respondent is directed to conduct enquiry and register a case, if cognizable offence is made out, keeping in view the dictum laid down by the Hon'ble Apex Court in re Lalita Kumari vs. Govt. of U.P. & others reported in [2013 (4) Crimes 243 (SC)] and investigate the same in accordance with law.
