This Criminal Original Petition is filed to quash the FIR in Crime No.240 of 2021 on the file of the 1st respondent-Police.

2. Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the first respondent-Police, on instructions, submitted that on completion of investigation in Crime No.240 of 2021, the first respondent-Police has closed the case as 'Further Action Dropped' on 14.06.2025 and closure report was filed before the Metropolitan Magistrate, CCB Court, Egmore, Chennai through e-filing vide No.LTN20220001896C202500015. He further submitted that RCS notice was also served on the complainant on 05.06.2025 vide RCS No.23604 of 2025.
