Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondent to carry out the mistakes in the petitioner's Passport inregarding with Place of Birth as Pollachi instead of Dindigul and the petitioner's mother name as *Jegadeeswari instead of Jegatheswari and issue rectified Passport to the petitioner.

ORDER

The petitioner has come forward with this Writ Petition seeking a direction to the respondent to carry out the mistakes in the Petitioner's Passport.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing the learned Assistant Solicitor General appearing for the respondent has produced a copy of the communication dated 10.06.2015 addressed to the petitioner in and under which it is stated as follows:

"Please refer your letter dated 05.02.2015 received at this office only on 20th May,2015 seeking clarification to change particulars in passport ie, change of Place https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

of Birth and Mother's name spelling correction. You are advised to apply for a new booklet as reissue of your previous passport at Passport Seva Kendra, Coimbatore for change of particulars enclosing the relevant documents by taking appointment in online at Website:http://passportindia.gov.in."

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that in pursuance to the said letter dated 10.06.2015, appropriate application will be made in accordance with law.

4. In view of the submissions made by the learned counsel appearing on either side, this Writ Petition is closed. No costs.
