ORDER

The limited prayer sought for in the present Civil Revision Petition is for a direction to the trial Court to dispose of the application in I.A.No.16111 of 2013 in O.S. No. 1802 of 2003 within a stipulated time.

2. In view of the limited prayer sought for and being satisfied with the adjudication proceedings produced before this Court, this Court of the view that no prejudice would be caused to the respondents, if the application is directed to be disposed of within a stipulated time and hence, notice is not being ordered to them.

3. The adjudication from June 2017 onwards reveals that the 8th respondent therein has been given considerable time for filing counter and till 09.07.2018, no counter has been filed by the 8th respondent. In my view, if the time is stipulated for concluding the said interlocutory application, the ends of justice would be met.

4. In the result, there shall be a direction to the learned II Additional Judge, City Civil Court, Chennai to dispose of the application I.A.No. 16111 of 2013 in O.S.No.1802 of 2003 within a period of 60 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With the above directions, the Civil Revision Petition stands allowed. No costs.
