The petitioner / Accused, who apprehends arrest in the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 120-B, 406, 420 and 465 of IPC in connection with the case in Crime No.75 of 2020, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) appearing for the respondent police, on instructions, submitted that final report has already been filed.

3. This is the third anticipatory bail application before this Court. The first and second applications were dismissed on the ground that the investigation is yet to be completed. The petitioner, however, has not referred to the dismissal of the second bail application vide order dated 07.11.2024 and hence, this Court is not inclined to entertain this anticipatory bail petition.

4. However, since the final report has been filed, on the 2/4

appearance of the petitioner before the trial Court, the trial Court may consider if the petitioner can be directed to execute a bond under Section 88 of Cr.P.C.

5. With the above observations, the Criminal Original Petition is closed.
