O R D E R
This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents 1 to 3 to fix the pay of the petitioner consequent on his appointments to the posts of Deputy Tahsildar, Tahsildar, Deputy Collector, District Revenue Officer and sanction annual increments and on that basis revise his pensionary benfits and disburse the arrears thereof with interest for delayed payment, all within a limited time frame, in the interest of justice.

During the course of hearing, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents has placed a status report filed by the second respondent and would submit that the relief sought in this writ petition is already granted by the respondents by issuing G.O.(2D) No.62 Revenue and Disaster Management (Ser3(2)) Department dated 30.01.2025 for sanctioning settlement of the amount payable to the petitioner from the cadre of Deputy Tahsildar to Deputy Collector. It is also stated in the status report that the Commissioner of Revenue Administration has ordered in his proceedings No. RA3(2)/02-40/1/2025 dated 30.01.2025 for sanctioning settlement to the petitioner in the cadre of District Revenue Officer Level and settlement bills presented to Pay and Account Office 2/5
(East), Chennai for payment.
3. Learned Additional Government Pleader further submits that, as per the sanction orders, an amount of Rs.1,66,011/- has been credited into the account of the petitioner after making necessary deductions.
4. Having considered the status report and submissions of the learned Additional Government Pleader, this Court is of the considered view that no further adjudication is required in this writ petition, as already the eligible amounts for all the amount, for which the petitioner is entitled have been paid to the petitioner.
5. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is closed.
6. However, it is made it clear that the petitioner is at liberty to approach appropriate forum, if he have any further grievance about the quantum of payment made, in accordance with law.
7. There shall be no order as to costs.
