(Order of the Court was made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) The petitioner is seeking directions to first respondent, Secretary to Government, Housing and Urban Development Department, Chennai, to dispose of the appeal preferred by him in accordance with law.

2. The learned Government Pleader pointed out that the said appeal has been disposed of by order dated 16.8.2018 by the Appeal Committee.

3. In this view of the matter, nothing further survives in this petition. It would be open to the petitioner to challenge the order dated 16.8.2018 passed by the Appeal Committee in accordance with law.
