ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner/A2, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 420, 294(b), 506(i) of IPC in Crime No.301 of 2022, seeks anticipatory bail.
2.This petitioner herein/A2 was assisted the prime accused A1 in recruiting gullible persons promising salary of Rs.10,000/-; Rs.15,000/- or Rs.20,000/- according to the money deposited, thereby they cheated more than 100 persons and facing investigation. 3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner contended that the petitioner is also one of the victim of the crime. 4.However, the counter filed by the respondent police indicates that this petitioner and one Tamilselvan (A3) have actively assisted the prime accused Vetriselvan (A1) and in collecting the money from the gullible victims more than 30 in numbers, totally a sum of Rs.5,89,240/- has been cheated and this petitioner and Tamilselvan were absconding. Unless and until the petitioner is secured and subjected to custodial interrogation, the money siphoned could not be traced.

5.Considering the submissions made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side), this Criminal Original Petition for anticipatory bail is dismissed.
