Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 1 and 2 to grant permission to conduct musical events which is scheduled to be held on 08.06.2015 in Arulmigu Shri Thirapauthi Amman Temple situated at Thirupudaiyur Village, Kattumannar Koil Taluk, Cuddalore District.

By consent, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal.
2. The petitioner claims to be the organizer of temple festival of Shri Arulmigu Thirapaudhi Amman Temple, situated at Thirupudaiyur Village, Kattumannar Koil Taluk, Cuddalore District
and submitted an application/representation to the third respondent praying for appropriate permission to conduct cultural musical events in connection with the said festival, scheduled to be held on 08.06.2015 after 7.00 p.m. The grievance expressed by the petitioner is that though the application/representation was received and acknowledged by the third respondent, no orders have been passed and hence, came forward to file this writ petition.
3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that though the application was submitted as early as on 04.06.2015, no orders have been passed and hence, prays for appropriate orders.
4. Per contra, Mrs.P.Rajalakshmi, learned Government Advocate, who accepts notice for the respondents would submit that there is not even an acknowledgment is available for submitting the application and hence the question of passing orders does not arise at all.
5. This Court, after considering the rival submissions, permits the petitioner to submit one more application/representation to the third respondent seeking permission to conduct the musical events in connection with the above temple festival within a period of one week from today and the third respondent, on receipt of the same, is directed to consider and pass orders in accordance with law within a period of one week thereafter and inform the decision taken to the petitioner.
