Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the second respondent to consider and pass final orders on the petitioner's representation dated 14.10.2014 as expeditiously as possible.

By consent, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal.
2. The petitioner claims to be a practicing Advocate of this Court (Enrolment No.1708 of 2009) for the last six years and according to him, he is the absolute owner of the property bearing Door No.5, Iyyapillai Thottam, Sathankadu Village, Thiruvotriyur, Chennai-9, admeasuring to an extent of 6692 Sq.ft in S.No.213/3A pt, 213/3B pt and 213/3C by means of registered sale deed dated 02.01.2014, in pursuant to a decree of specific performance. The petitioner would further state that though he is in physical possession, he is not in a position to occupy the same on account of dilapidated nature of the superstructure and he has also submitted an application dated 14.10.2014 to the second respondent seeking transfer of patta along with necessary documents and also paid the prescribed fees and since he has not been favoured with any response, came forward to file this writ petition. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
3. Heard the submissions of Mr.R.Shanmugam, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mrs.P.Rajalakshmi, learned Government Advocate who accepts notice for the respondents.

This Court, considering the limited scope of prayer sought for by the petitioner, without going into the merits of the petitioner's representation dated 14.10.2014, directs the second respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 14.10.2014 after putting on notice the petitioner and the persons concerned and pass orders in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken to the petitioner and the persons concerned.
