ORDER
This Crl.O.P. is filed to direct the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Chengalpattu to conclude the trial in Special Case No.4 of 2006 within stipulated time as fixed by this Court.
2. The petitioner is an accused in Special Case No.4 of 2006 on the file of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Chengalpattu. It is the case of the petitioner that after investigation in the case, charge sheet was filed. It is his further case that from 2006, the respondent-Police produced six witnesses out of 12 witnesses and six witnesses were examined and the remaining six witnesses are not produced by the respondent-Police. Therefore, it is the grievance of the petitioner that the trial is dragging on for the past 10 years without any conclusion. Hence, the petitioner has filed this petition for the relief stated above.
3. Heard both sides and perused the materials available on record.

Taking into consideration the above facts, the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Chengalpattu is directed the conclude the trial in Special Case No.4 of 2006 and dispose of the case within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The petitioner/accused is directed to cooperate for the trial in the case.
