PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus Calling for records pertaining to Circular No. ZD1155/ASP/2010 dated 14.6.2010 issued by the 1st respondent quash the same in so far as Clause 8(3)(2) of the circular is concerned and direct the respondents to continue to extend the benefits as per Special Allowance for Passing Examination Rules 1988.

ORDER
The Writ Petition is filed praying for Certiorarified Mandamus challenging the proceeding of the 1st respondent dated 14.06.2010 in Circular No. ZD1155/ASP/2010 and to direct the respondents to continue to extend the benefits as per Special Allowance for Passing Examination Rules 1988.
2. It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that subsequent to the filing of the writ petition, a representation has been made on 13.01.2021 with regard to the stoppage of actuarial allowance and fellowship allowance and would submit that the petitioner would confine its prayer to consider and pass orders on 2/4
the said representation. It is submitted by the learned counsel for the respondents that the representation of the petitioner dated 13.01.2021 would be considered and orders shall be passed in accordance with law.
3. In view of the above submission of the learned counsels for the petitioner and the respondents, the writ petition stands disposed of directing the 2nd respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 13.01.2021 and pass orders on merits in accordance with law within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
