PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, pleased to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the 1st respondent police to consider the petitioner's representation dated 07.03.2023 and further direct the 3rd respondent police to remove the petitioner's name from the History sheet record in H.S.No.176/2020 pending before the 3rd respondent police. 1/4

ORDER

This Petition prays for Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st respondent police to consider the petitioner's representation dated 07.03.2023 and further direct the 3rd respondent police to remove the petitioner's name from the History sheet record in H.S.No.176/2020 pending before the 3rd respondent police.

2.The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) submitted that the respondents would consider the representation and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law.

3.In view of the same, there shall be a direction to the 1st respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 07.03.2023 and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is for the respondents to 2/4

consider on merits the petitioner's request for removal of his name from the history sheet.
