for issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to call for records pertaining to the demand notice dated 12.03.2024 issued by the 1st respondent to the petitioners and quash the same and consequently de-seal the premises and restore the electricity power supply to the premises bearing new number 626/1, old number 501/1, first floor, Rangoon street, off Anna salai, Teynampet, Chennai - 18.

ORDER

The demand notice dated 12.03.2024 issued by the 1st respondent is challenged in this Writ petition and a consequential direction to de-seal and restore the electricity power supply to the premises situated at New No.626/1, Old No.501/1, 1st Floor, Rangoon street, off Anna Salai, Teynampet, Chennai - 18 is sought for.

2. Both learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Standing counsel for the Chennai corporation submits that the amounts demanded towards property tax were paid by the petitioners and the petitioners' premises was de-sealed as a consequence. As such, nothing survives for adjudication in this Writ petition.

3. Therefore, this Writ petition stands closed. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petitions are also closed.
