ORDER

Mr.P.Paramasivadoss, learned counsel appearing for the revision petitioner/Transport Corporation submitted that challenging the award dated 22.04.2013 passed in M.C.O.P.No.234 of 2009 on the file of the

Motor Accidents Claims Tribunal, Sub Court, Arani, the Transport Corporation has filed an appeal before this Court in C.M.A.No.2295 of 2016. The learned counsel further submitted that the Corporation had complied with the conditional order dated 28.04.2015 and deposited a sum of Rs.20,00,000/- to the credit of M.C.O.P.No.234 of 2009. The learned counsel also submitted that the appeal in C.M.A.No.2295 of 2016 is likely to be listed for admission before the Division Bench of this Court. Further, the learned counsel submitted that in view of the appeal filed by the Corporation, the Civil Revision Petition may be closed.

2. In view of the above submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the Civil Revision Petition stands closed. It is open to the Corporation to file a stay petition before the Division Bench of this Court in C.M.A.No.2295 of 2016. It is also open to the claimants to file an appropriate application before the Division Bench seeking for withdrawal of the amount deposited by the Corporation. No costs.
