Challenging the proceedings in C.C.No.8616 of 2017 on the file of the learned IX Metropolitan Magistrate, Saidapet, Chennai, the present petition has been filed.

2. Heard Mr.G.Dakshinamurthy, learned counsel for the petitioners as well as Mr.C.Raghavan, learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing on behalf of the respondent. Today, when the matter was called, the petitioners as wells as Ms.S.Bharathi, the Sub Inspector of Police, J-5, Shastri Nagar Police Station, Besant Nagar, Chennai are personally present before this Court today.

3. A joint compromise affidavit nil dated February 2018 was produced before this Court today. In the said compromise affidavit, it has been stated that the dispute among the parties have been amicably settled and the defacto complainant has no objection to quash the proceedings in C.C. No. 8616 of 2017 dated 22.12.2017 on the file of the learned IX Metropolitan Magistrate, Saidapet, Chennai.

4. The learned counsel for the petitioners produced the photo copies of the Aadhar Cards of the petitioners as well as the defacto complainant viz.,1.V.Gopi - 8199996369487, 2.V.Sathish - 248148322379, 3.S.Kadhiresan - 251102474201, 4.V.Dhanam - 703306425946 and 5.J.Veeramani - 368703136027 and after verification of the originals, the same are recorded. 4.In view of the same, the Criminal Original Petition is allowed. Consequently, the proceedings in C.C.No.8616 of 2017 on the file of the learned IX Metropolitan Magistrate, Saidapet, Chennai, stands quashed. The Joint Compromise Affidavit nil dated February 2018 shall form part of the order. Connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
