The petitioner, who is the wife of the respondent, has filed the Civil Revision Petition to direct the II Additional Family Court, Chennai to dispose of the Maintenance Case in M.C.No.85 of 2010, within a stipulated time.
2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the Family Court had already commenced the trial and the proceedings and and now the case is in part-heard stage. Further, the learned counsel submitted that since the Maintenance Case is pending from 2010, the petitioner is put to hardship and prejudice.
3. Having regard to the submission made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and also taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for in the Civil Revision Petition, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the II Additional Family Court, Chennai to dispose of the Maintenance Case in M.C.No.85 of 2010, on merits and in accordance with law, on or before 31.07.2015.
With this observation, the Civil Revision Petition is disposed of. No costs.
