O R D E R

The writ petition has been filed in the nature of a certiorarified mandamus seeking interference with a rejection order/online application status with respect to a legal heir certificate application made by the petitioners in A.No. 720200916571 on 16.9.2020 and to direct the first to third respondents to issue legal heirship certificate to the petitioners herein.

2. During the course of hearing of the writ petition, it had been stated that the jurisdictional Tahsilar is the Tahsildar at Walajah Taluk. The petitioner was therefore directed to file fresh application before the Tahsildar, Walajah.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner stated that such application had been filed on 19.01.2023 in Application No. TN-7202301191784. 2/5

The name of the applicant is Lathish J. The Transaction Reference Number is TNTAFVEL052000004181.

4. The status has also been produced by the learned counsel for the petitioner wherein it had been stated that the petitioner should produce certain documents for perusal by the Tahsildar at Walajah.

5. Let the petitioner do the necessary compliances. If the documents are produced, a direction is given to the Tahsildar, Walajah Taluk to dispose of the aforesaid application on or before 17.03.2023. Necessary enquires may be made before the disposal of the said application.

6. The writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.

7. Copy of the order to be communicated to the Tahsildar, Walajah Taluk.
