PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Habeas Corpus, to direct the respondent to produce the petitioner's wife,namely, Suvalakshmi, aged 20 years before this Court and hand over the custody of the detenu to the petitioner.

1. The detenue, i.e.Mrs. Suvalakshmi, has been produced.

2. We interviewed her. The detenue says that she is 21 years of age.

3. Even according to the petitioner, the age of the detenue is 20 years.

3.1. The petitioner claims that the detenue was his wife. 3.2. It is also asserted by the petitioner that the detenue was kidnapped by respondent No.2, who is minor.

4. Respondent No.2, i.e. Arun Kumar, is also present in Court. Respondent No.2 says that he is 21 years of age.

5. We asked the detenue, i.e. Mrs.Suvalakshmi, as to whether she wanted to return to the petitioner. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

5.1. The detenue, i.e., Mrs. Suvalakshmi, says that she does not want to return to the petitioner.

6. In these circumstances, no further orders need be passed in the petition.

7. The petition is, accordingly, closed.
