The respondent before the arbitral tribunal has applied for extension of the mandate of the arbitral tribunal. In terms of order dated 17.03.2026, after despatching private notice, the applicant has filed affidavit of service dated 02.04.2026 stating that notice was delivered on the sole respondent on __________ https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis

RNA 20.03.2026. The tracking report enclosed with the affidavit corroborates the statement. In spite of service of notice, there is no representation for the respondent.

2. Learned counsel for the applicant submits that arguments were concluded, but that the award could not be pronounced because the dispute requires verification of accounts and mathematical calculation.

3. Considering the stage of arbitral proceedings, the mandate of the arbitral tribunal is extended by a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
