This criminal original petition has been filed seeking direction to the first respondent to transfer the case in Cr.No.294 of 2023 pending on the file of the third respondent to any other competent investigation agency.

2.Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side).

3.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner's wife is the complainant in Cr.No.294 of 2023 and there is a case in counter as against the petitioner, his wife and three others in Cr.No.295 of 2023 on the file of the third respondent and hence, the petitioner has filed this petition.

4.The learned counsel for the petitioner further submitted that it would suffice if this Court issues direction to the respondent Police to complete the investigation by following the procedure contemplated under Clause 566 (2) of the Police Standing Orders. 2/4

5.In view of the above, there shall be a direction to the respondent Police to complete the investigation by following the procedure contemplated under Clause 566 (2) of the Police Standing Orders, as expeditiously as possible.

6.With the above direction, this criminal original petition is disposed of.
