Respondents Habeas Corpus Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking a writ of Habeas Corpus directing the respondents to produce the detenu Suresh Kumar, son of Gnana Sowndaram and grant interim bail for a period of 3 months after getting an undertaking that the detenu will participate in the trial proceedings before the Court of Sessions, Chengleput Division on day to day basis to secure the ends of justice.

ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by P.N.PRAKASH, J.) This petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to produce the detenu Suresh Kumar, S/o Gnana Sowndaram and grant interim bail for a period of 3 months after getting an undertaking that the detenu will participate in the trial proceedings before the Court of Sessions, Chengleput Division on day-to-day basis. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State.

3. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that by G.O.No.SR.III/1597-1/2015 dated 03.11.2015, the detenu Suresh Kumar, along with certain other detenus, was delodged from the Special Camp at Trichy and permitted to stay with the family members/relatives and he has also produced a copy of the Government Order. In view of the aforesaid Government Order, the cause for which this Habeas Corpus Petition has been filed does not survive. Hence, this petition stands closed.
