Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Government Advocate for the respondent - State.
Learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) would submit that petitioners demanded illegal gratification from the de facto complainant and received the same for providing electricity Service Connection.
Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the sentence of imprisonment alone is suspended pending disposal of the appeal and the petitioners are ordered to be released on bail on their executing a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- each with two sureties for a like sum each to the satisfaction of Special Judge / Chief Judicial Magistrate at Krishnagiri, and on further condition that they shall report before the trial Court on the first working day of every month until further orders.
