This Criminal Original petition has been filed seeking to grant special leave and permit the petitioner/complainant to prosecute the above appeal filed against the order of acquittal in C.A.139 of 2023 on the file of the Hon'ble VII Additional District and Sessions Court, Chennai dated 19.01.2024 by setting aside the judgment dated 06.03.2023 made in C.C.No.1975 of 2019 on the file of the Metropolitan Magistrate, Fast Track Court No.II, Egmore at Allikukam, Chennai.

2. Being satisfied with the reasons stated in the accompanying affidavit filed in support of this petition, this petition stands allowed and leave is granted to the petitioner to prosecute the appeal.

3. Registry is directed to number the Criminal Appeal, if the papers are otherwise in order and post the main case on 08.04.2024 for admission.
