This petition has been filed to direct the respondent police to register the complaint dated 04.07.2016.

2. No representation for the petitioner. Heard the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State and perused the records.

3. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that in respect of the theft of the idol, one Vijaya had earlier given a complaint, based on which the respondent police have registered a case in Cr.No.1748 of 2016 u/s 379 IPC on 20.07.2016. The petitioner has given a complaint dated 04.07.2016 in respect of the loss of the same idol. Recording the same, this petition is closed with a direction to the respondent police to proceed with the investigation in Cr.No.1748 of 2016 for apprehending the offender and recovering the idol in accordance with law. gms Sd/- Asst.Registrar /true copy/ Sub Asst.
