This petition is came to be numbered by transfer O.A.No.5780 of 2002 from the file of Tamil Nadu Administrative Tribunal praying this Court to quash the proceedings of the second respondent in No.23015/ES3 dated 18.07.02 and consequently direct the second respondent in consultation with the first respondent, to include the name of the applicant in the appropriate place in the panel of Grade I Warders fit for promotion as Chief Head Warder for the year 20012002 communicated in proceeding No.23015/ES3/2002 dt. 27.06.2002 in the Prison Department and direct the respondent to appoint the applicant as Chief Head Warder retrospectively insofar as the applicant herein is concerned.

ORDER
Mr.I.Syed Jaffar filed O.A.No.5780 of 2002 before the Tamil Nadu Administrative Tribunal seeking to quash the proceedings dated 18.07.2002 issued by the Additional Director General of Prison, Chennai with the consequential direction to include his name in the panel of Grade I Warders fit for promotion as Chief Head Warder for https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
the year 2001-2002 communicated in proceeding No.23015/ES3/2002 dated 27.06.2002 in the Prison Department with a further direction to appoint him as Chief Head Warder respectively.
2. When the matter was listed on 27.02.2014, there was no representation for the petitioner. Therefore, the matter was directed to be listed today under the caption "For Dismissal".
3. Today Mr.N.Srinivasan, learned Additional Government for the respondent is present. But, there is no representation for the petitioner.
4. Hence, the writ petition is dismissed for non-prosecution. No costs.
