O R D E R

The petitioner has come forward to file this writ petition seeking a direction to the respondents to consider his representation dated 16.05.2017 for the purpose of conducting "Veethi Ula", which is meant for taking the deity on the procession through all the streets.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the intervenor, though no application is filed, would submit that the Tahsildar, Veppur Taluk has already convened a Peace Committee meeting calling the two groups. However, this factum is not disclosed in the affidavit.

3. There appears to be some difference between two groups and that is why the Tahsildar, Veppur Taluk has convened the Peace Committee meeting. Hence, the said authority is directed to take decision and give permission based upon it.

4. The Writ Petition stands disposed of, accordingly. No Costs. 25.05.2017 ars/dsa Note:
