Respondents Prayer : Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the respondents viz., both the Government of India and Government of Tamil Nadu respectively to allocate and disburse 4% of the funds to the welfare of the differently abled from and out of the donations received by them for Covid 2019 Relief Fund, in accordance with the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016 For the Petitioners : No appearance For the Respondents : Mr.Srinivasa Murthy SPC for respondents 1 and 2 : Mr.T.K.Saravanan Government Advocate for respondents 3 and 4

ORDER

(Order of the court was made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) None appears for the petitioner when the matter is called out.

2. This petition is filed seeking directions against the third respondent to allocate 4% of the funds to the welfare of the differently-abled from and out of the donations received by them for Covid-2019 Relief Fund, in accordance with the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016.

3. The Covid-19 pandemic now does not subsist.

4. In view of the above, the writ petition stands is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, W.M.P.No.9083 of 2020 is closed.
