This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent to investigate the FIR No.106 of 2022 with an immediate effect and file the final report within a specific time given by the Court.

When the matter is taken up for hearing Mr.V.Meganathan (crl.side) would submit that a case in Crime No.106 of 2022 has been referred as mistake of fact and closed on 20.03.2022. He would submit that the copy of the closure report also sent to the petitioner.

3. At this juncture, learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has not received the copy of the closure report.

In view of the above, direction is issued to the respondent to furnish the copy of the closure report to the petitioner within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. On such receipt, the petitioner is at liberty to challenge the closure report by way of protest petition in accordance with law.

5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
