ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to direct the respondent police not to harass the petitioners based on the complaint given by the defacto complainant in connection with Crime No.Not known of 2020. 2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondent. 3.When the matter is taken up today, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that on a complaint given by the wife of the first petitioner, a case in Crime No.8 of 2020 has been registered against the petitioners for the offences under Sections 498-A, 406, 506(i) read with Section 4 of the Tamil Nadu Women Harassment Act and under Section 6 of the Dowry https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Prohibition Act. He would submit that the petitioners are absconding.

4.Since that the case has been registered against the petitioners, usual orders of not to harass the petitioners cannot be granted.

5.In view of the same, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed accordingly.
