The relief sought for in this writ petition is to direct the respondent to pass necessary orders on the petitioner's representation dated 11.04.2014.
2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner states that the writ petitioner was appointed to the post of Grade-II Constable on 20.02.1986 and thereafter, promoted to the post of Head Constable. Subsequently, the writ petitioner was promoted to the post of Special Sub Inspector of Police based on the time bound promotion order issued. Though the writ petitioner submitted a representation to the respondent on 11.04.2014, the same is kept pending for consideration. It is further stated that the writ petitioner is going to retire shortly.
3. In view of the above facts, the respondent is directed to consider the representation submitted by the petitioner dated 11.04.2014 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
With the above direction, the writ petition stands disposed of. However, there is no order as to costs.
