This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to to direct the 2nd respondent to register the petitioner's complaint dated 20.02.2021 vide CSR.265/21 dated 20.12.2021 and file the First Information Report.

2. This Court by order dated 19.04.2022, had directed the Assistant Commissioner of Police, Mylapore to appear before this court. Today, the Assistant Commissioner of Police, Mylapore is present before this Court.

3. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that based on the complaint given of the petitioner dated 20.02.2022, a case in Crime No.176 of 2022 has been registered before the Mylapore Police Station for the offences under Sections 147, 148, 294(b), 506(2) of IPC.

4. Recording the same, this Criminal Original petition stands disposed of with a direction to the 2nd respondent Police to complete the investigation and file the final report as expeditiously as possible.
