The relief sought for in this writ petition is to direct the respondent not to call upon the petitioners under the guise of enquiry and harass them.

2. Today (03.06.2021), when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the respondent would submit that the enquiry in connection with the complaint by one M.Shirijha, Civil Magistrate, Egmore against the petitioners is pending on the file of the respondent police since the petitioners are not co-operating for the enquiry.

3. In view of the submission made by the respondent's counsel, the petitioners are directed to extend their cooperation for conduct of the enquiry by the respondent police. The respondent police is directed to complete the enquiry and to proceed further in accordance with law.
