O R D E R

The Criminal Revision case has been filed seeking to to set aside the order passed in Crl.A.No.321 of 2017 dated 22.06.2018 on the file of XVII Additional City Civil Court, Chennai, confirming the order of conviction and sentence imposed on the petitioner passed in C.C.No.3131 of 2016 dated 28.09.2017 on the file of the Metropolitan Magistrate, Fast Track Court-II, Allikulam at Chennai.

2.On perusal of the records, it is seen that this Court on 17.07.2018 granted interim order of suspension on condition that the petitioner shall deposit a sum of Rs.1,35,000/- as fixed by the lower Court as compensation within a period of four weeks from 17.07.2018. However, on request, the time for depositing the aforesaid amount is extended till 22.10.2018 and directed to post the matter 'For Reporting compliance on 23.10.2018.

3.Today, when the matter is listed under the caption 'For Reporting Compliance', the learned counsel appearing for the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

petitioner would submit that despite several notices to the petitioner, he could not get any instructions and reported no instructions.

4. In view of the above submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, it seems that the petitioner is not interested to pursue the matter. Hence, the Criminal Revision is dismissed for non-prosecution.

Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is also closed.
