ORDER
The above writ petition is filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 6 herein to consider the petitioner's representation dated 12.09.2024.
2. The petitioner is a resident of tenement No.32, 23 rd Block, Door No.94, TNSCB Perumbakkam, Sholinganallur Post, Chengalpattu District. The petitioner along with her disabled husband and two children, is residing in the aforesaid premises, allotted to her mother by the 6 th respondent. The petitioner states that her husband is suffering from 85% Locomotor Disability and that she was sustaining her family from the meager income earned by her from the bunk shop conducted in the aforesaid premises. While so, the petitioner submitted representations on 12.09.2024 and 23.09.2024 respectively, to the 1 st respondent seeking allotment of bunk shop in TNUHDB premises allotted to her. As no action was taken on the petitioner's representation's, the petitioner filed the above writ petition for the aforesaid relief. 3/7
3.When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 submitted that the competent authorities to consider the petitioner's representation's are the Zonal Officer and the Commissioner of Greater Chennai Corporation. 4.Therefore, this Court, vide order dated 13.08.2025, in WMP.No.14749/2025, impleaded the said authorities as respondents 7 and 8 in the writ petition.
5.Heard both counsels and perused the materials placed on record. With the consent of both the learned counsels, the main writ petition is taken up for final disposal.
6.It is seen that the petitioner has submitted representation's on 12.09.2024 and 23.09.2024 respectively, to the 1 st respondent. However, the competent authorities to consider the said representations are the respondents 7 and 8.

7.Under the facts and circumstances of the case, and considering the limited prayer in the writ petition, the writ petition is disposed of with the following directions:- (a)The petitioner is directed to submit a fresh representation to the respondents 7 and 8, within a period of two weeks, from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
(b)On receipt of the said representation, the respondents 7 and 8 shall , consider and pass orders, on the petitioner's representation, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks thereafter. No costs.
