O R D E R

The petitioner, who is the husband of the respondent, has filed the above Civil Revision Petition to direct the 1st Additional Family Court, Chennai to dispose of the suit in O.S.No.1 of 2014, within a stipulated time.

2. The petitioner filed the suit in O.S.No.1 of 2014 to declare the marriage dated 19.02.2013 as void ab inito and to set aside the same.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is a Marine Engineer and therefore, he is put to hardship and prejudice because of the long pendency of the suit.

4. Having regard to the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner and also taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for in the Civil Revision Petition, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the 1st Additional Family Court, Chennai to dispose of the suit in O.S.No.1 of 2014 on merits and in accordance with law within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With this observation, the Civil Revision Petition is disposed of. No costs.
