PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus calling for the records relating to the order made in I.D.No.188 of 2014 dated 30.11.2017 on the file of the Labour Court, Salem and quash the same and consequently direct the respondent to reinstate the petitioner with continuity of service along with back wages and other monetary benefits.

The Writ Petition is filed for Certiorarified Mandamus calling for the 1/4

records relating to the order made in I.D.No.188 of 2014 dated 30.11.2017 on the file of the Labour Court, Salem and quash the same and consequently direct the respondent to reinstate the petitioner with continuity of service along with back wages and other monetary benefits.

2. On 19.02.2024, the learned counsel for the petitioner was absent. Hence, the matter was directed to be listed under the caption for dismissal on 05.03.2024.

On 05.03.2024, the matter was directed to be listed under the same caption on 07.03.2024. On 07.03.2024, the learned counsel sought adjournment so the matter was directed to be listed today under the same caption. Today, there is no representation for the petitioner. It appears that the learned counsel for the petitioner is not willing to prosecute the matter. Therefore the writ petition is dismissed for non prosecution. There shall be no order as to costs.
