Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to provide all the retirement benefits including pension to the petitioner by counting half of the service rendered by him on temporary basis as Plot Watcher from 05.03.1982 to 06.08.2009 along with regular service rendered by him as Forest Watcher from 07.08.2009 to 30.06.2019 as qualifying service, by considering his representation dated 22.02.2021. 1/4

Mr.S.Prabhu, learned Additional Government Pleader, takes notice on behalf of the respondents. By consent, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. 2.The petitioner made a representation dated 22.02.2021 to the respondents for counting his temporary service for the purpose of calculating pension. The said representation is still pending without any consideration. Though the petitioner sought for a large relief, he restricts his prayer into one of disposal of his representation.

3.Heard the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner.

4.Considering the limited prayer, without expressing any opinion on merits, a direction is given to the second respondent to consider 2/4

the representation of the petitioner dated 22.02.2021 in the light of the Full Bench judgment of this Court in WA (MD) No.51 of 2018 dated 27.03.2018 and pass orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.The Writ Petition is disposed of accordingly.
