ORDER
The present Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the 2nd and 3rd respondent to award one mark to the petitioners for each question Nos. 11, 38 & 44 with reference to the recruitment notification issued by the 2nd respondent in the year 2006 for appointment to the post of Sub Inspector of Police, in terms of the Judgement passed by the Division Bench of this Court in W.A.No.2771 of 2019 dated 16.04.2021.

It is the case of the petitioners that, as per the Judgement passed by the Division Bench of this Court in W.A.No.2771 of 2019 dated 16.04.2021, wherein a direction was issued to respondents to re-fix the seniority by awarding marks to the candidates in respect of question nos.11, 38 & 44 with reference to the subject notification which had since been affirmed by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in SLP (Civil) No.15062 of 2021 filed by the Department, the petitioners, who are also being similarly placed, are also entitled to avail the benefits granted to the petitioners therein and therefore, they submitted a representation to the respondents dated 12.02.2024 requesting to
extend them the benefits of the Judgement passed by the Division Bench in W.P.No.2771 of 2019 dated 16.04.2021. However, till date, the said representations have not been considered by the respondents. Hence, the present Writ Petition.

Though very many grounds have been raised, learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submitted that, this Court may permit the petitioners to make appropriate representation to the respondents so as to avail the benefit of the order passed by the Division Bench of this Court and the respondents may be directed to consider the same and pass appropriate orders.
4. Learned Additional Advocate General appearing for the 2nd respondent submitted that the petitioners' representation will be considered and appropriate orders will be passed on the same within the time that may be fixed by this Court.
5. In view of the limited relief sought for by the petitioners, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, directs the petitioners to submit appropriate representation to the respondents within a period of two
(2) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Upon receipt of any such representation, the respondents are directed to pass appropriate orders on the same on merits within a period of six (6) weeks thereafter.
