ORDER

The petitioner, who is an accused in Crime No.13 of 2020, on the file of the 1st respondent, for offence under Section 11(2), 11(4), 11(5), 12 of POCSO Act and Section 67B(a) of the Information Technology (Amendment) Act, 2008. 2.The case of the prosecution is that the victim girl is the daughter of the 2nd respondent's elder sister and she is aged about 17 years and completed 12th std. On 01.08.2020, the victim girl was repeatedly received calls and messages from the someone and when the same was enquired, it came to light that the accused threatened the victim girl to send her nude photos and videos for several days and also threatened her that he would upload the photos and videos in Internet. Therefore, the 2nd respondent lodged a complaint to the 1st respondent Police. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the 1st respondent submitted that on completion of investigation, the 1st respondent Police has filed the charge sheet before the learned Additional Mahila Court, Erode on 04.02.2021 for offence under Sections 11 r/w 12 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offence Act, 2012 and Section 67B of the Information Technology Act, 2008.

4.Recording the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Criminal Original petition is closed. Consequently, the connected Criminal Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
